Our Schools
The Lighthouse Center for Education
The Lighthouse Center for Education is dedicated to enhancing knowledge and building awareness about vision impairment and Vision Rehabilitation among professionals and the general public through continuing education programs, professional symposia, international initiatives, special projects, publications and newsletters.
The Child Development Center provides comprehensive services to meet the special needs of children who are blind or partially sighted in a caring and nurturing environment. Here, boys and girls learn basic life skills, gain opportunities for social development and acquire literacy, study and computer skills to help them build the bridges they'll need on the road to an independent life.
The Filomen M. D'Agostino Greenberg Music School
Since our school's founding in 1913, we have provided students who are blind or partially sighted with the opportunity to enjoy and perform music, and to become accomplished musicians. Over the decades, The Filomen M. D'Agostino Greenberg Music School has become highly regarded among music schools in the New York area.
