The POSH Sale in New York
A Tradition of Fashionable Philanthropy Continues
Our 37th annual POSH Sale - New York's leading fashion fundraiser - was a smash hit in May with repeat shoppers, who lined up around the corner outside our headquarters on 59th Street to Park Avenue waiting for the doors to open. They were joined by new bargain hunters who heard one of Celebrity Chair Kim Cattrall's POSH public service announcements playing on their favorite radio station.

Savvy shoppers browsed racks and racks of clothing, finding new and gently used fashions and accessories by designers, from A to Z - from Armani to Zac Posen, and so many others in between - stylish names that have become synonymous with POSH.
We're delighted that the sale was a success because all proceeds support a wide range of Lighthouse programs and services, including our Child Development Center, Low Vision Clinic and Mental Health Services Center.
This year's Benefit Committee included bestselling author Barbara Taylor Bradford, opera legend Reneé Fleming, noted philanthropist Audrey Gruss, renowned artist and writer Norris Church Mailer, legendary comedienne Joan Rivers and the first woman ever seated on the New York Stock Exchange, Muriel Seibert.
We extend our appreciation to our Celebrity Chair, Co-Chairs, Advisory Chairs, the POSH and Benefit Committees, all our volunteers for their tireless efforts - and to all who attended.
