Scholarships and Career Awards
Established in 1980 by Lighthouse International's Women's Committee, this time-honored tradition recognizes outstanding students who have overcome the challenges of vision loss by awarding them with scholarships for college and graduate studies. The program also honors extraordinary corporate citizens committed to breaking down barriers in the workplace for people with vision loss.
Over 100 people attended the 29th annual Scholarship and Career Awards on Wednesday, June 19, 2008. This year's recipients were Sean O'Keefe, Caitlin Sarubbi, Casey Burkhardt, Sharon McLennon, Molly Faerber, Alyssa Cayetano, and The TJX Companies. To read more about those honored, click here.
